PGSD Limited was asked by ARJ Construction Ltd to help with a project at Royal Holloway, University of London. The project comprised a Boiler House Cafe and International Building refurbishment.
The PGSD project remit included: design, supply and install a high level fence / barrier to ensure the area is safe from potential falls, given the height of the retaining sleeper walls around the parking bay. The fence needed to be fit for purpose, as ‘in fitting’ as possible within the surroundings. In addition, it had to be a cost effective solution.
Our solution was to supply and install 150mm x 150mm posts fixed 750mm down the sleeper wall, with integral 48mm galvanised key clamp poles in the posts and two rails. This ticked all of the boxes and the client was very happy with the result.
