During the weeks before Remembrance Sunday on 13th November 2016, PGSD Limited, on behalf of Hounslow Highways, visited a number of the memorials on the public highway in Hounslow to carry out maintenance work to shrubs as well as weed spraying and sweeping.
An early morning visit was made to the memorials on Remembrance Sunday itself at 5:00am, in order to conduct a final tidy up and sweep. Then PGSD placed on and around the memorials 39 large potted chrysanthemums. The flowers were funded by Hounslow Highways and supplied by PGSD. The result was that everything was ready for the Remembrance Service. The subtle yet visual improvement was appreciated by those who gathered together to remember the fallen.
