We have worked alongside Graham Construction on several projects. They asked PGSD to help with vegetation clearance, tree take-down (including climbing very large trees) and removal of stumps to clear an area for installation of Noise Barriers along the M40 motorway.
Work was started at the beginning of 2018 and is ongoing at several sections of the M40 between Junctions 3 and 8. Some areas are on high, steep embankments above the motorway.
This project included specialist arborist teams; equipment included chainsaws, track chippers, stump grinders and strimmers.
The client received a short lead-in turnaround and availability during night time and at weekends. Additional team members were made available, when required. The client has been immensely pleased with the speed and progress our teams have made. Throughout, PGSD has paid considerable attention to safe systems of working, including completing site-specific Risk Assessments each day due to the differing terrain and conditions.
